A Hycrome Apprentice was commended for his achievements in the Northwest Aerospace Alliance Awards held on 9th February 2012 held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.
Score Group plc, now entering its 30th Anniversary Year, held their annual Apprenticeship Christmas Lunch to award and congratulate their apprentices.
The Scottish First Year Apprentice Craft Competition is a competition that is held annually. The competition is designed for 1st year apprentices under the age of 18 at the time of the competition. The focus of the competition is on mechanical and electrical engineering and it consists of practical and theory assessment, based on the Performing Engineering Operations Level 2 qualification standard.
Whilst many thriving companies in the engineering sector have used the recent difficult economic climate as an opportunity to trim their training expenditure, Peterhead based Score Group plc continue to challenge that popular trend by taking the opposite approach.

Hycrome (Europe) Ltd has been recognised in the first ever Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list, supported by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) and City & Guilds – the UK’s leading vocational education organisation. The 100 employers were announced last night at the annual National Apprenticeship Awards.
The First Year Apprenticeship Craft Competition was held at the Banff and Buchan College of Further Education on Thursday 9th of June. This is the twelfth time the college has run the competition. The IMechE
(Institute of Mechanical Engineers) this year replaced Scottish Engineering as one of the sponsors, supported by Score Group plc.
