The SPE Aberdeen Offshore Achievement Awards, now in its 32nd year, is an annual event organised and hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers Aberdeen Section (SPE Aberdeen), and supported by Offshore Europe. The event, which is the biggest and longest established oil, gas and renewables industry awards for the UK offshore energy sector, honours the achievements of UK wide companies who have exhibited attributes of excellence over the last year. The 2018 awards categories will continue to celebrate both company successes and individual achievements, covering a wide variety of topics including innovation, collaboration and business growth.
Score (Europe) Limited is delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted in the Outstanding Skills Development Award.
The Outstanding Skills Development Award recognises innovation and excellence from companies in their efforts to bring new talent into the offshore oil & gas and renewables industries, or to develop existing talent within these industries. The judges seek evidence of success in the development, assessment and recognition of employees who are part of graduate, apprenticeships, or specialist training programmes, etc.
Score Group now for 30 years have been employing apprentices within the company and have extended this to many of their locations globally and remain highly committed to the Modern Apprenticeship Programme. With over 300 apprentices worldwide, they aim to extend this substantially over the next year or so.
The annual event was launched during SPE Offshore Europe 2017 in Aberdeen. The annual awards, organised and hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers Aberdeen Section (SPE Aberdeen), and supported by OE, was launched by Ian Phillips, Chairman of SPE Aberdeen, and Donald Taylor, managing director at principal sponsor, TAQA.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 22 March, 2018
