Development of an Asset Management Framework is vital to the optimised running of your Asset. Providing the correct framework is about not only understanding what equipment is on your Asset, but how that equipment is performing, analysing and assessing that data and making the appropriate changes to the management of that equipment to optimise the performance of your Asset. That isn’t just exclusive to the equipment which is in operation but also the development of an effective insurance and operational spares holding.

Depending on where your plant is in its asset life cycle can have a large impact on the type of inspection, testing, maintenance & diagnostic strategy which you may choose to adopt. For some critical equipment you will have performance standard driven requirements which will encompass all elements, whereas for others you may have a reduced version of this and more often than not a simple run to failure strategy. There is no broad brush stroke or magic solution when it comes to determining the correct strategy for your plant and the reason for this is that every plant is different and is at a different stage in its asset life cycle. That’s why we believe in working with you to understand where you are in that asset life cycle, what your current strategy is, how much time you feel you can allocate and most importantly what your appetite for risk is and from this we can then determine the correct equipment to go after to minimise unplanned outages.
Our criticality assessment takes into consideration numerous factors dependent on equipment type for assessment to best understand the purpose of that piece of equipment on the Asset. By examining factors such as routing, surrounding equipment and total impact on the plant should the equipment fail to function as required we can assign both an equipment criticality but also an "Equipment Configuration" to break down the purpose.

Using our experience of assets and the equipment that runs them, we have developed a suite of bespoke equipment registers for the data management of your Asset. Each register is built using information which is important to the equipment so that you can see the data which is important to you. As part of our equipment register builds, we also completed a criticality assessment of your equipment so that we can determine the equipment critical to your operations.
