Engineering & Turbine Specialists
We are the world leader in valve maintenance, selection, supply and testing; and, as we are not affiliated with any one valve manufacturer, we can offer a truly independent service that uses the knowledge from the global valve industry to provide our clients with best possible valve solutions.

Our robust supply chain and approved vendor list allow us to reliably source our valve stock. Part of our supply chain management is the auditing and evaluation of all our valve vendors. This process takes a detailed look at our vendors’ QA systems, technical capabilities, manufacturing capabilities and their personnel; which in turn gives us the reassurance that we always have reliable and technically compliant stock.
This also means that we can use this same process in valve procurement to apply to our client’s project procurement, ensuring they too have valves that meet their requirements.
Our experience in valve supply, operation and maintenance means we have undertaken tens of thousands of valve failure investigations, operational investigations, emergency repairs and troubleshooting exercises. Our vast knowledge of different valve types and manufacturers (whom we deal with on a daily basis) mean that our engineers are familiar with most common design features, common faults and failure modes, meaning that we are ideally placed to solve any valve problems.
Our control valve engineers offer application reviews, troubleshooting and failure analysis support. Their vast experience is enhanced with the use of manufacturers sizing software and independent software (CONVAL™) allowing detailed analysis of control valve problem areas such as cavitation, flashing, noise levels, energy dissipation, vibration and erosion potential.
We have produced valve narratives and datasheets for a multitude of clients, both taking the lead from previous, asset specific requirements, or by creating entirely new documents based on our vast experience within the valve industry.
Our previous projects have helped clients to rationalise valve specification, reducing the overall number of datasheets for an asset, and helping reduce valve procurement costs whilst simultaneously ensuring they are entirely fit for purpose.
We can lend our expertise and experience when it comes to new projects and FEED studies, enabling our clients to establish an accurate picture of their valving requirements. Our experience in valve specification, materials and sealing technology means we are ideally placed to add value into valve related FEED.
A fundamental part of selecting or specifying the correct valve is correctly specifying the materials of construction. Our materials engineers and metallurgists use their materials knowledge and experience in conjunction with real world experience to provide our clients with material specifications that are the best fit for their needs and provide the best performance / longevity in service.
Having the correct type of valve to correct level of specification is paramount to achieving the correct level of performance and longevity in service. Scores experience and knowledge when it comes to valves, achieved through years of supplying, servicing, upgrading and investigating, means that we can help our clients through the valve selection and specification process, enabling them to achieve the best possible solutions for their valve needs.
Our engineering team have detailed valve design knowledge and experience, with many of our engineers coming from valve design / manufacturing backgrounds, as well as those that have been brought through our extensive apprentice and graduate training schemes.
This means that we can review manufacturer’s valve designs, help our clients to correctly specify valves / equipment for their given service requirements, and add value when it comes to the manufacturing, assembly and testing phases.
