About the Role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and fast-paced Defence industry environment? We’re seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager – Defence to join our team in Wangara, WA.

You’ll be at the heart of managing commercial, contractual, supply chain and client relationships for our Defence contracts across Australia. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with sales, engineering and technical teams while building lasting partnerships with major defence clients.

This position is a Full-time position, Monday to Friday. If you are an experienced Account Manager with experience in cost to complete contracting this is a fantastic opportunity for you to support us in providing our clients with the high-quality service, they are accustomed to.

As the Account Manager – Defence, you will:

  • Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of our Defence contracts.
  • Act as the key interface between our company, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ensure contract compliance, risk management, and performance delivery.
  • Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis of contract performance.
  • Manage all planning, supply chain and procurement deliverables to client and internal standards.
  • Manage internal and external contractual reporting
  • Manage third party supplier agreements and commercial terms in line with head contract.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through strong relationship management and technical support.
  • Identify opportunities to expand scopes and improve service delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver against KPIs and service level agreements.
  • Manage a highly competent team.

Qualification and Experience

  • A mechanical engineering qualification or trade background in engineering with5+ years’ a good level of experience in a customer support role (valve industry experience highly regarded).
  • Prior experience in account management or customer-facing roles essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contractual obligations essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence.
