Accounts Payable Manager
About the role
The Accounts Payable manager will oversee the accounts payable function ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. They will lead a team, implement best practices, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the accounts payable team in Peterhead and KL, providing leadership, training, and support.
- Oversee invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage AP transfer from legacy systems to Microsoft D365.
- Maintain supplier relationships, resolving queries and disputes promptly.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to align processes.
- Prepare reports and analysis on accounts payable performance and KPI’s.
- Support month end and year end closing activities.
- Proven experience in accounts payable management.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (D365 desirable) and excel.
- Knowledge of international payment processes and multi-currency transactions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative
- Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
