Business Support Administrator
About the Role
The Administrator will be responsible for the completion of any administration related work within the stores department. All work shall be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Manage telephone calls and enquiries.
- General administration duties i.e. typing, data input, filing, scanning, meeting minutes.
- Correspond and communicate professionally with both internal and external clients
- Update and utilise company systems – electronic and paper based.
- Processing duties and systems administration.
- Assist with department audits when required.
- Pick spare parts from stock to make up parts kits and update stock records.
- Ensuring all department administration is updated correctly in a timely cost effective manner.
- Ensure you are working at maximum capacity to meet priority deadlines.
- Prepare for and attend in-house meetings to discuss ongoing / future tasks.
- Assist in the controlling of ALL Score / Client folders relating to administration within the materials team.
- Adhere to the controls in place regarding the Company archives.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to Customs issues related to the Company’s business.
- Responsible for ensuring Stores procedures, work instructions and good codes of practice are adhered to.
- Qualification to minimum SVQ level 3 in administration related discipline.
- Previous administration experience in a related industry is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both internally and with external parties.
- Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Commitment to continual improvement and a flexible approach to change.
- Self motivated and enthusiastic.
