Business Support Apprenticeship
About the role
We are recruiting a Business Support Apprentice to support our operations in Brighouse.
The Business Support Apprentice will assist with administration duties ensuring the smooth running of the organisation’s day-to-day operations.
Qualifications you will work towards
- Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard
This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and you will be given 20% of your working time to dedicate towards your studies.
- Input and update data into various systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with filing, organising, and maintaining office paperwork
- Support with managing appointments, meetings, and events
- Work closely with various departments, offering support and ensuring effective communication
- Minute taking
- Manage telephone calls and enquiries
- Processing of internal and external purchase requisition
- Preparation and submission of invoices
- Any other reasonable duties
Our preferred applicants will hold the following qualifications:
- National 5 or equivalent in English & Business Support/Administration
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team’s success
- Professional demeanor and punctuality
- GCSE or equivalent in English, Math’s and Administration/Business is essential
