Emissions Service Manager
About the Role
At an exciting time to join Score’s Emissions team, we are looking for an Emissions Service Manager.
The Emissions Service Manager will be responsible for all aspects Emissions Elimination (Leak Detection & Repair) within the Europe & Africa business unit, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with company procedures and policies whilst adhering to regional industry standards and/or legislation.
A focus should be placed on accomplishing high level business objectives and KPI’s that are aligned with the Score Group strategy, including but not limited to maximising profitability and expansion into new markets through the EE services.
- Setting the EE strategy in alignment with the Group objectives, develop business plan(s) and manage and deliver supporting action plans.
- Responsibility for leading the Europe & Africa EE working group, ensuring collaboration with other business units and the technology team is maintained at all times.
- Responsibility for the EE Profit & Loss account. Development of budgets, forecasts, and associated commentary. Financial reporting of the EE business, ensuring key objectives and metrics are monitored at all times. Management and recording of the pull through sales, repairs, and leak sealing business as a result of LDAR business.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on the financial performance of the business, including but not limited to revenue, cost of sales, profitability, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Manage the production of marketing collateral in line with the business strategy and conduct business development to grow the EE business across the E&A business unit. Provide BD support to the Score Group BU’s as required.
- Responsibility for the day-to-day EE operations, including the supervision of the E&A EE Team, scheduling of activities and management of customer relationships.
- Manage all aspects of the team from an HR standpoint, including recruitment, training & competency, KPI attainment, performance management and conflict resolution.
- Continuously improve the LDAR program through the identification and implementation of best practices and innovative solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with digital partner(s) to ensure continuous software development to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Responsibility for all administration aspects of the EE LDAR program including management of opportunities, WIP, procurement, invoicing, and inventory control.
- Management of customer relationships, opportunities and expectations including attendance at their premises for quarterly performance meetings (QPR’s).
- Attendance at industry conferences and events to promote the EE LDAR program, networks with customers, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring we stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practice.
- Provide technical and commercial support for internal Project Engineers (customer focal points) for E&A and the wider Score Group as required.
- Chair weekly production WIP meetings ensuring all EE jobs are being managed and delivered effectively and profitably.
- Approval of all invoicing in accordance with company procedures. Carry out investigations where the anticipated margins have not been achieved and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
- Where required assist with resolution of all INC, Customer complaints and associated Q/A queries.
- Development and approval of Emissions (LDAR) tender bids including the generation of technical and commercial response.
- Provide EE (LDAR) technical support to the technology team and Score Group business units as required.
- Disseminate a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the team ensuring collaborative working across the E&A and On-site Services Team.
- Desirable – Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, NDE or related field
- Desirable – SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in associated field
- Knowledge and experience of the valve and/or LDAR industries
- Experience in people management and conflict resolution
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in a technical or engineering environment (ideally within the energy sector)
- Experience in a previous customer facing role
- Experience of the LDAR industry
- Excellent general management and organisational skills
- Strong Leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with the team, clients, and stakeholders
- Analytical thinker with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
