Janitorial & Maintenance Technician
About the role:
The J&M Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly working environment across the facility. The role supports general housekeeping, basic maintenance tasks, materials handling, and controlled process support in line with company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Clean and maintain workshops and external spaces.
- Manage waste segregation and general housekeeping standards.
- Carry out basic repairs and minor maintenance tasks.
- Assist with moving equipment and materials around site.
- Receive and check incoming components against delivery notes and internal checklists.
- Complete component receipt documentation accurately.
- Support controlled material monitoring and neutralising processes as instructed.
- Follow all site HSE and environmental procedures and use required PPE.
- Full and clean UK driving licence.
- Proven experience in janitorial or maintenance roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to identify safety hazards and address minor repairs independently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and work collaboratively with team members.
