Management Accountant (Gas Turbines)
About the Role
You will be a part of the Gas Turbines finance team, responsible for collating, preparation and validation of monthly and annual profit and loss and Balance Sheet.
- Responsible for personnel – accounts assistant team member.
- Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet preparation and reporting.
- Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of month end reporting packs and other Group reporting.
- Responsible for management of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Ledgers.
- Involved in preparation of annual budgets, reforecasting and associated reporting.
- Prepare year end schedules and responsible for liasing with Auditors during interim and year-end Audit and providing required data to them.
- Prepare Annual Tax Return information and Liase with Tax Auditors.
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts.
- Preparation of weekly cashflows, forecasts and cash sheets.
- Working Capital Management – in particular Stock Management.
- Involved in reporting and analysis of monthly business KPIs.
- Any other tasks as reasonably expected of the role.
- Qualified Accountant – CA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience with ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 beneficial but not essential
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential
- Competent Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Produces good quality work in a timely manne
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative
- Good organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Commitment to continual improvement and a flexible approach to change
