Site Production Supervisor (Edmonton, Alberta)
About the Role
At an exciting time to join Score’s Edmonton, Alberta site team, we are looking for a Production Supervisor to support one of our site teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills, while using your experience and knowledge with a global company, reporting to the Site Manager.
Based in Fort McMurray at CNRL Horizon Site, working a shift of 7 days on 7 days off, flights and camp provided. This position has an uplift on top of hourly wage.
The successful candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our workshop activities and towards all related work for Score (Canada) Ltd.

- Lead and supervise a team of valve technicians as required in daily operations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, while providing guidance and support.
- Ability to strip, assess and re-build, complete in-depth inspection reports for all types of valves including Ball, Globe, Choke, Check, Butterfly, Control, Safety etc. in both workshop and site based environments.
- Ability to strip, assess and assemble all types of valve operators.
- Ability to carry out pressure tests to various specifications.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Work safely & adhere to company safety systems, standards or any other requirements from customers or their sites.
- Provide safe working conditions for all workers.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
- Effectively deal with any incidents, unsafe acts or conditions that have been reported, or which are liable to cause or have caused incidents.
- Conduct regular inspections for unsafe practices and conditions and ensure prompt corrective action to eliminate causes of incidents.
- Work in cooperation with other project supervisory personnel to determine safe practices, enforce their use, develop disciplinary procedures for dealing with violations and develop other general safety and incident prevention measures.
- Any other reasonable duties required to meet the requirements of the business.
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in similar role – Essential.
- Experience working with valves – Essential.
- Experience in a technical role (ideally within the valve industry).
- Experience in a previous focal point or customer support role.
- Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering.
- Full driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Forklift license is an advantage.
- No restrictions to working on site.
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and safety, with a flexible approach to change.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering work to a high standard of HSEQ excellence.
- Professional presentation.
- Ability to work well in team and to take own initiative.
