Purchasing Administrator (Peterhead)

Purchasing Administrator: Supporting the Subsea & Wellhead team with Purchasing & Administrative duties

  • Open and process purchase orders and deal with purchasing enquiries
  • General admin duties i.e. typing, data input, filing, scanning, meeting minutes
  • Correspond and communicate professionally with both internal and external clients.
  • Update and utilise company systems – electronic and paper based
  • Manage telephone calls and enquiries
  • Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
  • Qualification to minimum SVQ level 3 in admin related discipline preferred
  • Must have a sound working knowledge of MS Office package – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in administrative role(s) required
  • Good organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Honest & reliable
  • Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative
  • Commitment to continual improvement and a flexible approach to change
  • Self motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering HS&E excellence
