QC Inspector (Peterhead)

At an exciting time to join Score’s QHSE team, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to support with the inspection and certification of all components created or repaired through the workshop, ensuring high quality products are delivered to our customers.

  • Ensuring all activities undertaken are in compliance with the SEL ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001 Management Systems.
  • Provide support to all disciplines within the Company’s organisation.
  • Raw material verification by use of XRF unit.
  • Quality control surveillance.
  • Control of quality records.
  • Control of non-conforming product.
  • Assisting with the processing supplier non-conformances.
  • Inspection of purchased certified goods to ensure compliance with the purchase order content and certification requirements.
  • Maintain calibration system and records.
  • Review of completed job packs prior to dispatch to ensure that Score and customer requirements are satisfied.
  • Undertake internal and external training to ensure job performance competency.
  • Adherence to company requirements in respect to health, safety and environmental aspects.
  • Strong knowledge of management system standard ISO 9001 (essential)
  • Experience in the use of measuring equipment (essential)
  • Computer literate (essential)
  • Trained on the use of Q Pulse (essential)
  • Familiar with pressure / flow measurement (desirable)
  • Must be an effective communicator, particularly in producing written reports.
  • Requires ability to interpret work processes / job histories and make informed judgements.
  • Must be able to work on your own following training.
