Senior Project Engineer (Newfoundland)
About the role
At an exciting time to join the Score Group team based at our facility in Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada. We are seeking a proactive Senior Project Engineer to support activities. Reporting to the relevant Management Representative, the Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of Engineering and Project Coordination related work for Score (Canada) Ltd. This role will be to support the marine division within our organisation. The position will be responsible for a range of multi-skilled tasks including but not limited to technical engineering tasks and internal project support/development.

- Oversight and involvement with the completion of Engineering-related documentation pertaining to GA Drawings, Engineering Management Plan, Verification Cross Reference Index, Specification Compliance Matrix, Test Procedures & FAT Procedures, detailed Valve Lists.
- Management of the above documentation, in order adhere to agreed submittal timelines.
- Check and approve drawings and design packages.
- Responsible for ensuring technical compliance to contract requirements.
- Responsible for technical input into key Quality documents (i.e., ITP and Quality Plan)
- Establishing Technical Requirements for Purchase Orders and Technical Requisitions.
- Collaboration with Score Engineering personnel (i.e., Drawing Office and Support Engineer), for all associated deliverables and support activities.
- Work in indoor office environment 90% of the time.
- Workshop environment 10% of the time.
- Some travel required.
- Working knowledge of business processes and functions (i.e., client service satisfaction, operations, procurement, purchase ordering systems, etc.).
- Previous experience and a high level of knowledge in Valve & Actuation is essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of valve and pressure vessel Industry Standards.
- Communicate effectively and positively with others and be flexible to change.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other platforms.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Suite including Excel to develop relevant data and maintain applicable file management.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Engineering Degree or diploma from college or university and/or have a demonstrated track record of serving in an engineering or projects environment.
- The successful candidate will be required to register for a Professional Engineering (P. Eng) License within Newfoundland, Canada, with PEGNL.
