Workshop Administrator
About the Role
At an exciting time to join Score’s Administration team, we are seeking a proactive Workshop Administrator to support all aspects of administration in Workshop Operations activities. Reporting to the Operations Director, Workshop Administrator will ensure seamless operations and uphold our high standards across all facets of our workshop activities.
As the Workshop Administrator, you will be essential in ensuring that all work aligns perfectly with company policies, procedures, and standards. Your responsibilities will include managing workshop purchase orders, maintaining meticulous documentation, and providing essential receptionist duties with a focus on visitor experience and office upkeep.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our diverse projects, including compiling critical reports and managing inventory, all while receiving cross-training to support our production and sales administrators. - Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.
- Create Workshop purchase orders, scanning and sending to suppliers.
- Complete receptionist duties including greeting visitors and general housekeeping.
- Compile reports update log spreadsheets.
- Compile job summaries for jobs.
- Order and maintaining Office supplies.
- Inventory management and making updates to company systems.
- Provide assistance and coverage for production & sales administrators.
- Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- High School Diploma.
- Post-secondary office education (Office Admin or Equivalent).
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Access, Project & PowerPoint required.
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a workshop or industrial setting or additional qualifications in administration or relevant field is a plus.
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and safety, with a flexible approach to change.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering work to a high standard of quality.
- Professional presentation.
