Domgas

Originally founded in 1978, valve automation company Domgas International traded until 1997, designing and manufacturing 1/4 turn rotary and bespoke linear actuators for use with air, gas or hydraulic supply.  When Domgas ceased trading in 1997, we obtained full intellectual property for the company.

Domgas Actuators

Using Rotary 90 degree actuators with either scotch yoke or rack and pinion principles to meet the valve torque requirements, Domgas produced efficient opening and closing mechanisms for ball, butterfly and plug valves.

The bespoke designed Domgas Linear range provided a positive, reliable opening force for gate and globe valve applications.

Domgas actuators were fitted to all sizes of valve - From ½", up to and including 36", with frame sizes capable of producing torques up to:

  • 4,000,000 lb. in / 552,000Nm (double acting)
  • 500,000 lb.in / 56,000Nm (spring return)

Domgas linear actuators can achieve opening thrust requirements of 900,000 lb. / 4,000,000 Newtons.
