Engineering & Turbine Specialists
We have invested heavily in extensive state-of-the-art machining & welding capabilities.
Our speciality is the supply, repair, upgrade and modification of all types and sizes of valves and actuators but we will readily undertake machining projects involving other engineering components used throughout industry.

A water jet profiling facility using EH315 machines offers a fast, cost effective method of delivering most profiling requirements.
We can provide bespoke and contract profiling services to a variety of industries such as oil & gas, marine, construction, manufacturing, automotive and aerospace, with proven efficiency in comparison to laser, plasma, EDM or milling processes.
Water jet profiling offers an accurate finish, cutting up to a depth of 150mm of most materials.
Water jet profiling is a cold process, which means there is no heat deformation or hardening of the edge when cutting metals.
Water jet profiling offers an efficient cutting process with a clean finish which often eliminates the need for secondary machining.
Using CNC equipment we can design and manufacture many different Sealing Solutions such as;
Our protective coatings can be machined to the design geometry of the part with super finishing techniques allowing for surface finishes as low as 4µInch Ra.
A range of machines are used to grind the outside diameters of large shafts, internal diameters for bearing housings, flat surfaces such as gate valves and spherical grinding for ball valve components.
Diamond Grinding of Tungsten Carbide is a speciality and we have the ability to HVOF coat and grind ball valves up to 36" diameter bore.
We offer a wide range of traditional non-destructive examination services for valves and associated equipment, in addition to pressure and function testing.
These include the following:
Our team includes multi-skilled NDE technicians with extensive experience in the application of NDE techniques on valves and associated equipment. All of our technicians are qualified to a minimum of SNT level 2 in each NDE technique.
Using High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF), Plasma and Electric Wire Arc application methods, many different types of thermal spray coatings can be applied such as:
Working to existing client specifications, our process engineers work closely with clients to evaluate the operating environment of the parts and can develop bespoke coatings that meet their needs.
Our highly skilled and experienced welding technicians are ‘multi-coded’ enabling them to work with a wide variety of products.
Employing the latest equipment, materials and methods, all work is undertaken to comply with the latest ASME 9 standards. In addition to performing new welds and claddings, we use our unrivalled knowledge and experience to repair, modify and upgrade engineering components, particularly valves of all types and sizes.
Valve cladding constitutes an important part of our activities and we specialise in hot-wire TIG cladding. This includes Inconel 625 overlays.
We have a large stock of corrosion/wear resistant welding and cladding components incorporating ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Hard-wearing Inconel 625 is widely used on critical seal areas on valves, but we also keep stock of other material including Inconel 718, F51 Duplex and F55 Duplex.
Our equipment is programmed and operated by fully qualified and experienced technicians, All machinists (CNC and Manual) are highly skilled allowing them to work with a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including exotic materials such as Inconel, Duplex and other heat-resistant alloys.
We use modern CNC technology to execute large-scale projects involving the machining of multiple quantities of specialist valves and components.
We hold our own large stocks of Inconel, Duplex and other specialist materials so that we can start work on your machining project with minimum delay. This competitive advantage allows for a speedy and efficient service to deliver your critical projects.
