Overview

• Apprenticeship duration: 5 years
• First year spent full-time with our partner training provider

Qualifications you will work towards

• Level 2 – Mechanical Operations Engineering
• Level 3 – Engineering Fitter
• Level 3 – Maintenance Technician
• Level 3 BTEC

Typical responsibilities

Assist with maintenance team activities, liasing with the engineering team, supervisors, and key personnel. You will fault-find and solve problems, plan work and assist with the repair, maintenance, and testing and calibration of valves and associated equipment. Through your work, you will build an awareness of safety protocol and quality assurance processes. & experience in safety awareness & engagement, quality control and assurance techniques.

Entry requirements

 Our preferred applicants will have a minimum of:

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade 5

Selection process

Applicants that meet the above entry requirements will be invited to complete a skills test. Those that are successful will be invited to attend an interview.
