Tell us about your role at Score and how you got there?
The year before joining Score I completed two HNC’s at NESCOL one in Electrical and one in Measurement & Control. I am currently a Valve Automation Apprentice at Score VAC working on rotation between sales and the workshop, I am also in the third year of my Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) degree in Instrumentation, Measurement and Control Engineering at Robert Gordon University.
When you reflect on your career, what makes you most proud?
When I reflect on my career so far, I am proud to have been able to pick up various opportunities to further my technical skills & experience whilst also gaining further academic knowledge through my GA degree.
What do you enjoy about working at Score?
At Score, I enjoy working on projects from a sales and workshop perspective which helps to give me a greater understanding of the full picture. I also enjoy the opportunities to carry out work at different locations and the possibilities for travelling in the future.
What would you tell someone considering a job or apprenticeship at Score?
I would recommend the Score apprenticeship scheme to anyone leaving school or college as it is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge whilst working. The people at Score are also very supportive and look to improve you as an employee but also as a person.
