HycAero Wins Manufacturing Excellence Award at the 2026 Burnley Business Awards

Our subsidiary HycAero is proud to announce that it has been named the winner of the Manufacturing Excellence Award at the 2026 Burnley Business Awards.

Held every two years by Burnley Council, the awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses across the borough, recognising excellence, innovation and success within the local business community.

The Manufacturing Excellence Award recognises organisations that demonstrate exceptional performance in manufacturing while making a significant contribution to Burnley’s economy through innovation, quality, operational excellence and sustainable growth. Following a rigorous application and interview process, HycAero was shortlisted before being announced as the category winner.

The award was accepted on behalf of the business by Johnathon Tate, Thermal Coatings & CNC Manufacture Manager, alongside members of the HycAero team.

Reflecting on the achievement, Johnathon said:”At HycAero we tend to go quietly about our business when we should showcase our capabilities more and be proud of the good work that we do.

The category was extremely strong, with some of the biggest employers in the region shortlisted, so to come out on top is a fantastic achievement.
