Score Group Selected for Second Sunday Times Ranking

Aberdeenshire-based Score Group is delighted to announce it has been placed at number 193 in the twelfth annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table, as released today, Sunday 21 February.

The league table programme, sponsored by HSBC and DHL Express, and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm, ranks Britain’s leading private companies with the fastest-growing international sales; as measured from the companies’ latest two years of available accounts. This year’s edition relates to financial periods prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Score Group is pleased to enter the league table this year, as one of seven new entrants headquartered in Scotland, Score Group had an international sales growth of 19% over the past two years, with £143m in international sales.

A specialist in valves, fuel systems and accessories, and component manufacture, Score Group operates in more than thirty locations, spanning five continents, employing more than 1,800 people, together with 360 apprentices. The company provides complex engineering solutions to customers in multiple markets, including the defence, nuclear, aerospace, utilities and, energy industries.

The announcement of the International Track 200 listing follows Score Group’s ranking in the Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 in September last year: where the company was placed at number 76 in the top-performing UK privately held companies.

Gordon Ronaldson, chief executive officer, Score Group, commented:

“To receive this placement, alongside such a diverse range of successful international companies, is a fantastic accolade for the company and our global team both past and present: they have been the drivers of our business performance and success. For more than thirty years, we have continued to grow year-on-year, not just in terms of revenue but in terms of headcount and capability. This award is dedicated to the efforts of our highly skilled colleagues and apprentices who helped to deliver this.”
