Score Wins ‘Large Employer of the Year Award’ at 2024 Scottish Apprenticeship Awards

We are delighted to announce that Score has won the ‘Large Employer of the Year’ award at today’s 2024 Scottish Apprenticeship Awards!

The awards ceremony, held in Aberdeen, Scotland, celebrated the incredible work of Foundation, Modern, and Graduate Apprentices, while also recognising learning providers, individuals, and businesses throughout Scotland for their support and investment in apprenticeships.

Leighton Willox, Group Head of HSEQ and Training for Score, expressed his pride in the Score team for winning the award: “Being named Large Employer of the Year at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards is fantastic recognition for our apprenticeship programme. Being shortlisted alongside internationally recognised companies really emphasised the standard of the organisations competing, so we are delighted to have received the award.

“This award is for everyone in Score – the entire team works together to ensure that our apprenticeship programme is a success. Over the last 10 years, the programme’s coverage has grown significantly, and there are now apprentices in almost every team. The whole process, from recruitment through to training and mentoring, is supported by everyone in the company. Well done!”
